Winter's Breath, for violoncello and harp (2010) – 4'
Winter's Breath was composed for a collaboration between the composition and cello departments at the Blair School of Music. The title refers to an open, crystalline atmosphere in the piece. It hangs suspended, rarely settling into fully solid harmonies, while also not biting with dissonance.
