Sonatina for Baritone Saxophone and Piano (2016) – 7'

I. Arches
II. Jaunt
The Sonatina for Baritone Saxophone was written for saxophonist Ava Oaxaca, to whom it is dedicated. The first movement, Arches, is slow and spacious, exploring the warm, lyrical side of the bari sax. The second movement, Jaunt, is quick and jovial, with a spry theme prone to modulation.
